Codeine: You probably took some codeine, maybe a cough suppressant. Codeine is metabolized to morphine, hydrocodone is a semi synthetic opiod. Heroin and codeine metabolize to morphine and there are several byproducts of metabolism that can be tested to pinpoint exactly what a person took even though they metabolize quickly.
