HPV: You can pass HPV to a vaccinated person because the vaccine can't cover all types

Things to ponder: HPV is a family of dozens of viral strains. There have been 3 HPV vaccines offered by 2 companies. They offer protection against 2, 4 or 9 strains depending on which series was given. The full series must be given or the protection declines. If you have a strain that is not in the vaccine taken by your partner, they can become infected. If they do not get infected they cannot host it or pass it.
