Dry Sockets: Tooth #16 is a wisdom tooth. Two weeks after the extraction is a long time to first be aware of having a dry socket. Antibiotics alone may not resolve the problem. Were any medication placed into the sockets? Are you under the care of an Oral Surgeon? Not all abscesses drain. Something sounds off or awry. Perhaps get a second opinion from an Oral Surgeon.

Pain: #16 May mean either UL wisdom tooth or UL 1st molar. As you are from S Africa I would anticipate the latter. Post surgical care, part of your procedure, is responsibility of treating Dentist or Oral Surgeon. You state "dry sockets," were any of the extraction sites packed w medicated dressing? Have you reported problems to treating practitioner? See your practitioner.
