A member asked:

I have a pulse in my left leg by my knee. it's on upper inside part of one. i've had three surgeries on this knee. what is making this happen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal pulse: This may be your normal popliteal pulse, as the area you are describing is the area where the popliteal area courses through. See if you can feel the same pulse behind the other knee. However, if you have had a recent surgery and notice pain, swelling, or redness associated with this then you should see a physician.
