Sore throat is commo: A change of weather frequently brings on sore throat(head colds) which are caused by common viruses. This is nothing to worry about as it occurs in almost every body once or twice a year. it has no special treatment other than Tylenol for sore throat. it settles down in 5-7 days. If it is getting worse after 5 days, then you need to see your PCP, especially if you develop persistent Fever .
