Had an echocardiogram done and it says normal sinus rhythm. but i thought only an ekg could show sinus rhythm?

NSR: technically you are correct but the cardiologist can "see" what is happening with the echo. When one listens to a person's heart and it sound regular, one assumes it is sinus rhythm and not any of the other possibilities. Good question
