A member asked:

Chest pains on the left for 2 months now ekgs echocardiograms normal would it be safe to say my pain is non cardiac?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal EKG's and echocardiogram at your age are reassuring as coronary artery disease, for which treadmill stress testing is done, would be highly unlikely. Nevertheless you would still like to know the cause if your left chest pains even if they're noncardiac. They could be from pinched nerve in the rib cage, lung pathology, etc. I recommend consulting a pulmonologist for evaluation&advice.
