Hubby has pain on his left side under breast for 2weeks. no visible signs of injury or discoloration. doesnt feel like muscle pain. hurts when pushes against it. hurts when he sits. able to take deep breaths. what could be wrong?

Rib cage: The most likely cause is costochrondritis where the areas between the rib segments gets inflamed. Try heating pad and/or NSAID to see if they help. If not, need to rule out a rib fracture.
