7yr old has caps on his two back molars. he's had them for two years. when can i expect them to come out?or how do they come out? are they removed?thx

Crowns on primary's: The crowns are most likely on his primary (baby) teeth and if so those teeth will be lost naturally with the crowns attached. If they are on his first permanent 6 year molars, they need to be monitored every six months and when he is approximately 18 years old, the temporary crowns will be easily removed and replaced with permanent molars.
