I have respitory problems. always wheezing. doc said he cant do anything else. i have a hard time breathing and catching breath could i have lung canc?

Unlikely: Lung cancer would be very unlikely, although not impossible at your age. Asthma is more likely. Pulmonary function testing would be helpful. Consider getting a second opinion if your are not satisfied.

Probably not: That's a serious jump from "Can't help you anymore" to "I have lung cancer."Most often wheezing implies some problem with medium or small airway reactivity in the lungs and not some space occupying problem in the lungs such as lung cancer. I would ask your physician to explain the problem more thoroughly to you.If you have unresolved questions seek another opinion. bet there's more help available
