If you have anovulation, is it possible to still get a positive lh surge and period? do you still get your period even if an egg is not released?

Anovulation : Many people just have very rare ovulation. If you normally have anovulation, It is still possible to get an lh surge and period. An egg was probably released if this happened to you. Anovulation does not preclude you from ever ovulating. You still need birth control if you are avoiding pregnancy.
