PCOS: This sounds like polycystic ovarian syndrome (pcos) - you should be checked by a physician - we can measure hormone levels that essentially prove it - and yes your cycles would be annovulatory - the good news is that is easy to fix when you want to get pregnant. Pcos is associated with Insulin resistance and sometimes is corrected with medication used for diabetes, with resulting ovulation.
