Blood clots: Large blood clots indicate the need for evaluation. It could indicate anything from fibroids, hormone issues, clotting issues, to endometrial cancer. A blood count, ultrasound, and biopsy are generally indicated. If all are normal, it is treatable. The implanon can also cause bleeding issues, but other issues should be ruled out.
