The change: to Trigestrel from Oralcan is a change to a lower dose of the progestin component, levonorgestrel. Also, with Trigestrel, the levonorgestrel is gradually increased through the 21 day active pill cycle. These changes can bring about unexpected bleeding. It should normalize over the next cycle or two. You may inform your doctor, but I suspect she/he will want you to continue and see how things go:)
