Underlying problem?: Alcohol intake has its own risks. However, one aspirin with three beers is unlikely to cause a medical catastrophe UNLESS the stomach lining is damaged. A stomach lining that is compromised by chronic alcohol use, ulcers, gastritis, excessive use of pain killers aka NSAIDS (to name a few) may worsen with aspirin use. Enteric coated aspirin is usually the safer aspirin to use.
