I have to hold dabigatran 110 for 2 days knee injections . is it safe 2 days without anticoagulant?

Safer than bleeding.: While your risk of a vascular event increases during those two days, the risk of bleeding during your knee injection / procedure, in the opinion of your Orthopedic Surgeon, is probably greater (that is why he / she recommended stopping for 2 days). The low risk of stroke accumulates each day off dabigatran, whereas as the risk of the injection is 1-time. Discuss w/ Surgeon or use HealthTap Prime.
