Stool fat: There are many malabsorption tests. One is a stool 72 hour collection of fat- you collect all the stool and the lab determines how much fat is in the entire collection. Other tests include stool enzymes such as chymotrypsin. A fecal calprotectin may be elevated in patients with crohn's. See your doctor for an evaluation.
