I do not: think the pancreatitis is related to your recent sleeve surgery HOWEVER contact the surgeon who did the surgery ASAP (If he/she was not already contacted by the ER crew) Hope this is helpful Dr Z

Went to er, bad lower stomach cramps, massive diarrhea. Wbc 13.27 (4.00x10.80) high neutrophils low lymphs. Pancreatitis? No test lipase or amylase. diangosis gastroenteritis. Felt 100% 2 hours later.
What does pancreatitis really mean? Can someone have no pain and still have pancreatitis? Does just high lipase (570) and high amylase mean pancreatitis or can it be caused by the stomach flu?
