Common: The origin of this peculiar process is thought to be the rubbing of the stomach bubble against the breathing muscle. The structures are close in babies early on. This is often seen late in pregnancy up until the kid grows longer & the two structures separate. It probably bothers you more than baby & should fade without treatment.
