See below.: The common causes are swallowing a lot of air by eating too quickly,crying a lot or sometimes stress.Most times we don't figure out what causes them and they go away on their own.Some home remedies include holding your breath,drinking a glass of water quickly or eating a teaspoon of sugar or honey. If the hiccups persist more than 24 to 48 hours, you should speak to her doctor.

Hiccups: are a contraction of the diaphragm and are often caused by distention of the stomach related to certain foods that are gas producing or carbonated beverages. If they last longer than 48 hours, have her evaluated by her doctor. I hope they will just get better and go away. All the best.
