Rule out pregnancy: Rule #1 in women of childbearing age-rule out pregnancy. and ectopic preg After that, if you are experiencing pain in your abdomen and it is worsening, be seen in the ER or Urgent Care, if it is mild, make an appointment to be seen ASAP. Ovaries can develop cysts which if large can cause torsion of the ovaries, which can be an emergency and if the pain intensifies, don't be scared to go to the ER.
