Lift: Usually NSAIDS, light stretching and backing off your current sporting activity will calm it down. Another tip would be to put a heel lift in your shoe to take some tension off of the tendon. An ankle brace can also limit your ankle motion. If no relief I would see an orthopedic or podiatrist to check for a partial tear of the achilles.
