Happens.: This is a chronic viral infection. As such, it causes chronic viral irritation and changes in the blood cells and immune system. Of course if cured, then that doesn't matter. But genotype 3 is a bit different and is associated with more liver effects. This is probably only when it is present. and quite likely to reverse when fixed.
