Confirm diagnosis: If a person had one partner only, 10 years ago, and got trichomonas back then and got treated... it's possible that some trich survived and reproduced and stayed with her all this time. Ten years with no symptoms is a long time, but nobody knows who holds the world record for the longest number of years of having trich without symptoms. She can ask to retest now to confirm her current diagnosis.
