Ovulation: Progesterone levels confirm that you have ovulated. In women with irregular cycles or > 35 days, a day 21 Progesterone test isn't helpful. It would be best to correlate the level with an ultrasound to see what is going on inside your ovaries. If the test is low and the ultrasound suggests you did ovulate, then you may benefit from Progesterone supplementation. Still, the chance is low.
