New boots: It sounds like you need to invest in a pair of quality boots, that are well fitted, and have good insoles. The type you eat in the oven to customize them to your feet are the best. If not better, see a podiatrist.

Quality OTC inserts: Some boots/shoes don't come with much padding or good insoles. Find some high quality well cushioned inserts to place on your work boots. If your boots are over 6 months old then consider replacing them.
