No: I'm sorry anyone told you something so foolish. Occasionally peripheral veins dilate and this seems to be genetic. In the arm, they're basically never the result of an unknown deep blood clot. The illness leading to post deep vein thrombus in legs or (rarely, Mr. Stallone) arms is not subtle. I'm glad you're health-conscious but there's no concern here.
