Pituitary Surgery : Pituitary Surgery is minimally invasive and the instruments will be placed through your nose. You will go home the day after surgery, which will take 3-4 hours. Recovery will take weeks to months and you will have some pain and have to get labs drawn. Best of luck to you. Stay strong it is a blessing to have something found and acted upon by a Neurosurgeon. http://pituitary.ucla.edu/faq
