Painful ganglion cyst on upper side of left wrist. i'm right handed and don't use my left hand much, how did it appear on my opposite hand?

Ganglion cyst: The exact mechanism of formation of ganglion cyst is unknown. Most likely the repetitive motion may enlarge it or provoke symptoms. So right hand dominance doesn't mean that you cannot have it on left wrist.

Not overuse syndrome: Ganglion is a synovial cyst arising from wrist joint when a defect develops in the joint capsule. Can be trauma related, related to underlying arthritis changes, iatrogenic or from abnormal stress to joint. So appearing on non-dominant hand is not unusual
