Yes and No.: Ovarian cysts can cause abdominal and pelvic pain, but most patients do not describe this as cramping. Most of the time this is sharp, sometimes stabbing pain, but can also be a dull ache. Rarely is it "crampy". Ovarian cysts would not cause you to have diarrhea. Ovarian cysts are most often painful in the middle of your cycle, not at the end.
