I(30) had pain at side of my knee which radiates to calf, it started a month back, then i stopped running , but it started again as i resumed running?

Muscle strain: Calf pain during exercise could be related to muscle strain. The gastrocsoleus muscle complex is the big muscle that makes up most of your calf. Running injuries often can precipitate an injury to this muscle or its tendons located around the knee. These symptoms may appear to resolve when you are just walking, but quickly return as you attempt to run again. Rest, ice are good things to try first
