Scoliosis: KailaniTi - everyone has some amount of lordosis in their spine. That is entirely normal. Scoliosis is a coronal deviation or abnormal curvature of the spine beyond 10 degrees in the coronal plane. It is not always accompanied by pain. There are other conditions of the lumbar spine (low back) that can cause pain in your age group. Typically, initial evaluations begin with a few x-rays.
