Ingrown toenail : You may need surgery or antibiotics. Until you get examined soak your foot in warm water and keep it out of tight shoes

Need to visit a Doct: Ingrown nails can be a source of serious infection. So you need to seek medical attention. A good GP or general surgeon or a podiatrists can do the needed surgery to remove part of the nail in order to straighten it out so that it can heal. otherwise you will continue to have local pain, infection and poor quality of life. Go see your doctor ASAP

Next day play.: Relax. This problem is easily remedied, at least in the U. S., by a simple office procedure that allows you to play the next day. Seek a foot surgeon that has experience in this type of treatment.
