Ok... two groups of: arthritis diseases; ones which are wear and tear and others that are overall inflammation. The inflammatory ones are treated with drugs that damp down the immune system. THere are a lot of them. cannot say in your particular case, but generally, these diseases are much worse if not treated. They also tend to be in women under age 40
