Managing symptoms: Diarrhea is the body's way of 'getting rid' of poisons-whether that's from food poisoning or germs having a field day at your expense. I am NOT actually an advocate of treating these symptoms, since believe it or not, you want the body to do it's thing and get rid of the germs or toxins. Hyoscine or scopolamine butylbromide (Buscopan) may be too much at this point. I would hold off. See doc if bad

Yes: but you may experience rebound CONSTIPATION and a very DRY MOUTH! Give the Imodium a chance! BTW if your diarrhea is frequent IBS-D should be ruled out! Dr Z

Diarrhea: One episode of diarrhea does not need to be treated. Using 2 IMMODIUMS IS TOO EXCESSIVE. MAIN THING KEEP YOURSELF HYDRATED, AVOID MILK PRODUCTS AND SPICY FOOD -
