A member asked:

I have had really bad tonsil stones for a while, i need to remove them daily and my tonsils bleed, is this serious or am i doing something wrong?

Tonsil stones : Tonsil stones are the result of chronic changes in the crypts of the tonsil. Actually food gets stuck and hardens in the crypts and causes a local infection and thus bleeds. The food putrifies and is smelly when it is expressed from the tonsil. You need to get your tonsils out. You can try a water pic jet spray to help clean out the crypts. But at the end of the day, they need to be out.
