My husband has pressure in groin area for about 5 days. no real pain. about 2 inches up and 1 inch right of penis. inside of crease of leg. he thinks it's a muscle, but i'm worried about lymph nodes. should we be concerned? no other symptoms. thanks

These: symptoms should be investigated.(I am more concerned about a hernia!! than about lymph glands which are quite common in the groin! Hope this helps Dr Z

Probably not a node: Pain or "pressure" alone, without obvious swelling or a mass (lump) under the skin, probably is not due to lymph node inflammation. If he is convinced he had a physical strain that could cause muscle pain (e.g. heavy lifting), that's probably what it is. But if uncertain and the problem continues, he should be professionally examined.
