Not quite sure of ?: Muscle build up from training goes away 50% by 6 months. How long to rest between exercise depends. Normally I don't; I run and lift weights daily. But when I did an 8 mile uphill quarry run and had muscle break down I stopped for about 2 weeks. Mainly, judge the amount you can do to have muscle pain NOT BUILD UP.
