Tummy ache causes...: The usual things that cause tummy aches will happen in people with and without a nuvaring. Causes include stomach virus infections, reflux (heartburn, acid indigestion), gall stones, pancreatitis (pancreas is sick), hepatitis (liver is sick), bad food, strain in abdominal muscles, etc... For pains that are more than just mild, a trip to the doctor is needed to decide if treatment should be done.
