It can be.: Hormones are powerful and every woman's response is different. The kind of progestin (synthetic progesterone) in the NuvaRing is different than in any other hormonal birth control. If have used other forms without moodiness, this could be why. Some women using hormonal birth control, experience a drop in vitamin b levels. You can try supplements or you may need to change methods.
