Buddy strapping: Use a tape to strap her affected finger to the adjacent finger for support. If you keep experiencing ongoing pain then an X Ray is a wise idea. Most finger sprains recover within 2-3 weeks provided you keep it well supported and do not hurt it again

Injury finger: Rest, Ice , pain relief and buddy strapping should help. Most sprains improve over 2-3 weeks. If pain is not improving or unable to bend finger then please consult a doctor.
