I have a black eye from a concussion and the other eye is blackening also. should i be concerned?

Depends on symptoms: The extent of the black eye is important to know. If it encompasses the entire eye (ie. 360 degrees) and if there is double vision or limitation of movement of either eye, one would be very concerned about an orbital fracture. Also, if there are other symptoms such as headaches, nausea/vomiting, decreased level of consciousness-one should seek medical attention.

Yes: Bilateral black eyes after a blow to the head is a sign of a basilar skull fracture. You be evaluated with neuroimaging. The er is the easiest way to achieve this.
