Is taking amoxicilin of 500mg good to treat sepsis?

No: Sepsis is usually a life threatening infection that is treated in the hospital with IV antibiotics. You are probably being treated for a less severe infection. Sometimes the word sepsis is used loosely and incorrectly but it is unlikely you are walking around on Amoxicillin pills with sepsis. I would ask your doctor for a clarification as to what exactly you are being treated for.
