A member asked:

Hello, i am doing an activity with 21 children aged 3 to 5 to reduce any anxiety about going to the doctors and was wondering what a health bp is?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pressure monitoring: Your students would likely understand that fluids like water flow down hill. In the body, the heart pumps the blood and creates a pressure that helps the blood "flow down hill". The healthy blood pressure (BP) is in a range that is not too high or low. The top number represents the peak pressure (top of hill) while the bottom number is the pressure at the bottom.
