A member asked:

Last week i had a pain in my achilles. it lasted about 5 mins and then went again. but since then i have a tingling in the place where the pain was. i have had calf problems in the past. could the pain from achilles be connected to my calf injury?

Achilles discomfort: When you press on your calf do you elicit pain? The tingling could be from achilles tendonitis, sprain( runner? ) lumbar origin or may be compounded or related to previous calf issues as the calf muscle do coalesce into the achilles tendon . Have you tried ice, kinesiotape or an ace bandage or splint, or motrin products? ? Would follow up w/ doc
