My 2 yr old son has pid. we are seeing the specialist only end of month. iga & lymphocytes are extremely low. what else can be done except polygam.

Depends: In general, if he suffers from recurrent infections, IVIG would be indicated . IgA is generally low at this age but if it is absent, he may not be able to tolerate IVIG (although SCIV may be tolerated) . There are also researches on gene therapy but this will require him to be studied at a research center.
