Muscle fasciculation: Is a very common occurrence. Everyone will experience these at some point in their lives. ALS would be an EXTREMELY RARE cause of what is a VERY COMMON occurrence. They are usually caused by... drum roll... too much stress, too much coffee, not enough sleep, fatigue, anxiety, or even a pinched nerve. I would tell your husband to focus on rehydration, mindfulness techniques, and self-care.
