Save your money.: While there's a (single!) report of laxative-free "virtual" CT colonography using a contrast agent to "tag" feces, that study wasn't able to find polyps/adenoma <1 cm very well. The technique (tagging, not CT scan) is new; reviewers even said that more studies are needed. The paper is no longer available (withdrawn?) on AIM & was performed at only 1 center. In short, colonoscopy is still standard.
