Stop worrying: This is a screen for a couple of uncommon genetic disorders and is seldom performed on adults. Children with one of these illnesses have high levels of one or more of these substances. You also need to know that reference ranges for most lab tests are set arbitrarily so that a few percent of healthies fall outside. Talk with whoever ordered this and I trust your anxiety will be relieved.
