This is a negative: Congratulations!
This is a negative test. It is an assessment for antibody to the Hepatitis C virus. This result suggests no prior exposure.

Unlikely: Anti-HCV antibody tests look for antibodies to HCV in the blood, indicating an HCV infection has occurred. This test cannot tell the difference between an acute or long-term (chronic) infection. The results imply that you may not have any detectable levels of HCV antibodies in the system. However this result is best interpreted by the doctor who has ordered them
